So how many of you have watched a video on how pollutants harm the species living in the water bodies around us. I can bet all those of you who will see this post, have seen one or several such documentations.
Yet, how many of you have actually stopped rolling down the window glass while traveling to dispose off your used products? Or how many of you will pocket the used beer can while you are at sea the next time?
All of social media today is filled with satirical illustrations in the hope that it will make the world a better place. I contribute to the numerous failed attempts today, sharing the same hope, that YOU WILL MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE FOR THE NEXT GENERATION, if not anything else.
You will allow the species, yet not extinct, to live, so that your children may know what a humpback whale or an american crocodile or the leatherback Turtle or the POLAR BEAR is. Yes! you think how can these animals be near to extinction, well yes they top the list of endangered species.
In the hope to experience a miracle, where the sea will wash over all pollutants to the shores, to those ‘sea beaches’ you plan to get a tan this summer, a tsunami bringing it all to your doorsteps would not be a bad idea.
STOP POLLUTING MY OCEANS MY RIVERS, MY WATERS.
IT WAS A GIFT, DON’T MAKE ME TAKE IT BACK.
